WHY ARE FOCUS GROUPS

the FASTEST and EASIEST WAY

to BUILD YOUR BUSINESS?

If you are serious about creating and/or growing your business, you will accomplish more at one focus group than weeks of business classes, seminars, and months of networking groups.

Why are they so powerful?

They are groups of non-competing business owners who meet, focus on, and study business strategies, tools, methods, and ideas. They are ‘think tanks’ with synergy. They solve problems, brainstorm new ideas, share experiences, and provide encouragement, support and solutions.  They help each other minimize mistakes and maximize success. At the conclusion of each meeting, each business owner has new ideas on how to move their business to a new level.  Each time they meet is a new focus with new ideas.

How effective are they?

  • “I would not be successful today if it weren't for the focus groups that I have been a part of. They're extraordinarily powerful, and the people find support, encouragement and solutions in them.” Karyn G.

  • “I just got back from meeting with my local focus group. Some in this group have a 6-figure business and are master marketers. The energy that happens as we share cutting edge marketing strategies and resources is so motivating. I always return to my office energized and full of new ideas”.

.... and the reward?  Solutions you can take back to your office and immediately implement.

How do they work?

  • Each focus group is organized to solve a particular problem
  • Groups are limited to no more than 25 participants and are made up of non-competing businesses
  • A facilitator from the Small Business Training Center is there to provide information and help with the discussion and problem solving
  • Everyone is encouraged to participate and contribute
  • Notes and materials generated by the focus group are compiled and later sent to each participant
  • Focus groups meet for 2-3 hours, depending on the topic and discussion time needed to arrive at solutions

How are they different than Mastermind Groups?

Mastermind Groups and Focus Groups are the same in purpose but differ in length of time.  Focus groups meet once to focus on a particular problem or strategy.  Each focus group usually has different participants.

A mastermind group meets for months, sometimes for years.  The participants remain the same

Who can benefit?

  • New startups and existing small businesses
  • Those looking for solutions to their business problems
  • Those who want to increase their business IQ
  • Those looking for new ideas
